Lilikoi Butter (Passionfruit Curd)

One bite and you'll know why it's called passionfruit.

Lilikoi Butter Recipe

Ingredients:

9 egg yolks

7/8 cup organic sugar

1 cup lilikoi - passionfruit 

3/4 cup chilled butter

 

Instructions:

  1. In a pan, whisk together egg yolks and sugar until well blended
  2. Add lilikoi and mix over medium heat until thickened. It should coat the back of a spoon.
  3. Remove from heat and add in 3/4 cup of chunks of chilled butter. Mix well until well incorporated
  4. Store in glass mason jars
